About 'The Problem With Water'

The dappled light in the afternoon, the gentle reflections in a stream of water, the petrichor before an incoming storm.

This collection explores the idea of time as measured in nature. Time without scarcity, the stillness of eternal time as trees take root, wild flows and the passing of time is irrelevant to the flow of each moment.

Created over 3 months, the months of spring/summer, this collection is a series of 8 original paintings made on cradled wood and framed in oak. The solidity of the material reflecting and grounding each brushstroke with a materiality only found in nature.

Above all this collection is a meditation, an intentional prayer, an offering of my attention towards my work - which is to love the world.
